Bill The Bookkeep

My name is Bill Eggert and I am the owner and lead bookkeeper at Bill the Bookkeep.  

During the day, I serve as a Senior Management Analyst for a local city government where I help manage a +$30 million budget for the Fire Department. In this role, I provide expert guidance to executive leaders on budgetary and financial trends, so we can make strategic, data-driven decisions for the organization and better serve our community members. I regularly track expenses, revenues, and perform financial research to ensure that we deliver cost-effective and efficient services. I enjoy serving my community everyday and pride myself on maximizing every dollar.

In 2022, I decided to open Bill the Bookkeep and bring my 8 years of experience and dedication in public finance to assist small business owners.

I currently live with my wife and two boys in Troutdale, Oregon within minutes from the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, fishing, camping, and enjoying all the outdoor opportunities that Oregon has to offer.
